Labor Day

Labor Day weekend!

This weekend has been busy!! Yesterday, we went and bought new phones (our phones at two years of age were biting the dust), shoes for our growing DD (poor girl has been blessed with her mother's big feet!) And of course a typical stop at Target.
DD has decided she loves walking at Target, she carries a list with her and goes up to every single item and touches it and occasionally throws something into the cart. Well, yesterday in her walking she walked straight into a high traffic aisle as I stood blocked off by carts and people yelling at DD to "stop, don't move, freeze" She stopped-in the middle of the aisle-and got this hilarious look on her face. And then she realized about two or three people were paying attention to her so she started hamming it up. Too funny that girl. Then at the check out lane she just plopped down and ate her goldfish and drank her water. Silly girl!
Then today our dryer decided it was done and needed to be sent packing so sure enough we had to go buy a new dryer. They are 7 years old and according to my husband "they don't make washing/drying appliances like they used to twenty years ago!" Appliances aren't built to last that long anymore, unless you are staying on top of maintenance.
Then after our shopping trip for the dryer we went to some dear friends house for dinner and fellowship.

I think tomorrow I am going to sit on my couch ALL day long...and not Labor!

Labor Day is the close of the summer; schools are back in session, the days are getting shorter, the leaves are (should be) turning color and falling, cooler weather is on its way (hopefully).

Oh and Friday night it was a blue moon! A blue moon is when a full moon occurs twice in one month and the kicker it only happens every three years (or something close to that) so now I get the phrase "once in a blue moon!"

That's all for now! ;)
